This portrait of Mother Teresa was taken in Calcutta by Rob McCann, a former Jesuit Volunteer Corps member who taught at a school in Woodburn, Ore. "In class, I emphasized that service work can be exciting. I vowed that I was going to meet Mother Teresa. My students thought I was crazy. But five years later, I got the chance. Mother Teresa and I spoke about service for others. I mailed a copy of this photo to each of my former students along with Mother Teresa's favorite prayer and an 'I told you so.' "
